Hamish Beck is a prominent company director with substantial strategic experience who has contributed to the development and conservation of Western Australia. Mr Beck is the Managing Director and founder of Beck Advisory and Property Australia Management, where he has provided specialist strategic property advice and asset management to large private and public companies and not-for-profit institutions since 2000.
Across an executive career spanning three decades, Mr Beck has held senior roles with some of WA’s largest development and construction companies and been involved with an extensive range of committees, boards, trusts, development groups and foundations.
In recognition of his contribution to conservation, environmental protection, and public administration, Mr Beck was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in 2025.
Mr Beck currently serves as Chair of the Rottnest Island Authority and as a Board Member of Infrastructure WA and the Environmental Protection Authority. He also advises institutional and private groups across a range of interests and objectives.
He was previously Non-Executive Director of Primewest, one of Australia’s leading private Real Estate Funds Management firms managing over $5 billion of property assets, and Chair of the appointed Board Sub-Committee to oversee the merger between Primewest and Centuria. He recently retired as Chair of the Swan River Trust and Chair of the Fremantle Maritime Museum, was Deputy Chair of the Historic Heart of Perth Committee, Member of the Central Perth Planning Committee, Board Member of the Cockburn Sound Management Council and served on the boards of the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Architects Board of Western Australia and Property Education Foundation.
