Hamish Beck is a prominent company director with substantial strategic experience who has contributed to the development and conservation of Western Australia. Mr Beck is the Managing Director and founder of Beck Advisory and Property Australia Management, where he has provided specialist strategic property advice and asset management to large private and public companies and not-for-profit institutions since 2000. During his 30-year executive career, Mr Beck has held senior roles with some of WA’s largest development and construction companies and been involved with an extensive range of committees, boards, trusts, development groups and foundations.
He is a Board Member of the Environmental Protection Authority, Chairperson of the Rottnest Island Authority and Western Australian Fremantle Museum Advisory Committee. In addition, he is an advisor to various institutional and private groups with diverse interests and objectives. Mr Beck was previously Non-Executive Director of Primewest, one of Australia’s leading private Real Estate Funds Management firms managing over $5 billion of property assets, and Chairman of the appointed Board Sub-Committee to oversee the merger between Primewest and Centuria. He recently retired as Chairperson of the Swan River Trust, Deputy Chair of the Historic Heart of Perth Committee, Member of the Central Perth Planning Committee, Board Member of the Cockburn Sound Management Council and served on the boards of the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Architects Board of Western Australia and Property Education Foundation.
